Jobsgopublic victory at PPMAs for 3rd year in a row!

On a night where for many the heavens opened, so did the champagne bottles at the Annual PPMA Conference in Birmingham as Jobsgopublic accepted an award for the third year running.

This time around we were delighted to be presented with the award for the Recruitment Campaign of the Year for our work with Hackney Homes.

Hackney Homes came to Jobsgopublic with an exciting proposition. In a first-of-its-kind move for the organisation, they had devised a new training programme that would provide young people with a step-up into careers within the public sector.

As opposed to an internship or apprenticeship, the scheme would see successful candidates take on full positions within Hackney Homes, be paid accordingly and receive thorough on-the-job training.

The campaign took place over two phases and involved a multi-platform attraction campaign and a multi-stage process. This included a short application to a talent pool, allowing unsuitable candidates to be filtered by essential criteria before being invited to complete a more detailed application to the Jobsgopublic ATS.

The campaign was run in two phases, with two separate groups of vacancies.

Across the two phases there were over 1,500 applications to the Talent Pool and nearly 400 to the ATS. Finally, this resulted in 40 applicants being invited to interview and 19 hires.

The campaign was a huge success and Hackney Homes not only filled all the original posts but also had extra candidates that were used to fill additional vacancies.

This is a campaign that we are extremely proud of and has contributed heavily to an incredible relationship that has developed between Jobsgopublic and Hackney Homes that will undoubtedly reap more success in the future.
