Sheffield council ‘performing strongly’
Sheffield city council is continuing to perform strongly, a new Audit Commission report shows.
In its comprehensive performance assessment (CPA), those working for the public sector body maintained their four-star rating - the highest ranking possible.

Blackburn council’s multimillion pound Supporting People programme has recently been praised by the Audit Commission, it has emerged.
In a report by the commission, the local authority’s £6 million initiative was described as "good" with "promising" prospects for future improvements.
