Kent county council has been praised in a new study by the Audit Commission, it has been revealed.

As part of its corporate assessment report, those working for the public sector body were commended for its operations with numerous network partners in helping to improve the quality of life for its residents.

Ribble Valley district council is offering an improving service to its residents, it has been reported.

In a recent report by the Audit Commission, those working for the public sector body were deemed to have a "good" rating in its comprehensive performance assessment (CPA), an increase from a previous report where it was reported to be "fair".
