Wedding list helps charities

Couples tying the knot in the capital will be able to give to charities thanks to a new online service from not-for-profit company Give It.

The London Wedding List will make it possible for couples to specify a list of charities which they would like their wedding guests to donate to instead of shelling out on presents. (more…)

New documentary lauds young volunteers

A documentary showing how volunteering can improve the lives of youngsters is showing on the digital TV station, the Community Channel.

No Limits looks at the experiences of a group of youngsters who are coming to terms with problems and gaining new skills and confidence through volunteering on charity projects. (more…)

Digital recycling project yields cheap PCs

A digital recycling project being overseen by Bristol city council is delivering cheap PCs to the local community.

The project is supplying recycled and refurbished computers for as little as £150, according to Sam Rossiter of Bristol Wireless. (more…)

Charity coalitions get guidance
