Small charities ”to benefit from new support resource”
A support resource targeting those working for small charities is set to be launched later today (December 1st), it has been revealed.
The Small Charities Coalition is to unveil a website aimed at helping such voluntary organisations access the various resources and skills they need in order to achieve their aims.
Free to use, news of the website’’s launch could be of interest to those charities that are looking to improve their skills framework.
Patrick Cox, founder of the Small Charities Coalition, said: "It’’s about direct support to small charities.
"You could even describe us as an online dating agency for small charities; matching their needs to the best resources."
He added that the website would look to offer innovative solutions to those charities that are looking for assistance steering through the tough times.
Those charities which receive less than £1 million in donations every year are especially being targeted.
Last month, voluntary groups and charities in the Leicester area were invited to attend a training session on how to become more effective at campaigning.
