Surrey housing association praised
The service provided by a housing association in Surrey has been praised by the Audit Commission, it has been revealed.
In the commission’s report, Raven Housing Trust was reported as performing well and as such as given two stars out of a possible three.
Furthermore, it was praised as having "promising prospects" for achieving future improvements.
According to the commission, Raven Housing is performing effectively in terms of providing a cost-effective service and ensuring that homes are well maintained.
Such news might be of interest to those seeking jobs in housing via a regional recruitment portal.
Sara Kulay, lead housing inspector in the south-east for the Audit Commission, said: "Raven Housing Trust is providing a good quality housing management service for its tenants, leading to high levels of customer satisfaction."
Furthermore, the public sector organisation was indicated as carrying out repairs to a high standard and lowering levels of anti-social behaviour.
Last month, the Audit Commission praised Salford city council for its strategic housing services.
