Chelmsford council receives Audit Commission praise
Those working for a public sector body in Essex have been commended by the Audit Commission, it has been stated.
In a report by the commission, it was revealed that Chelmsford borough council is providing an "excellent" level of services to its residents, an improvement from the "good" rating achieved during its previous comprehensive performance assessment.
Senior manager for the Audit Commission Ian Davidson said: "Chelmsford borough council has made strong progress since its last corporate assessment."
