Contour Housing ‘gets top marks from Housing Corp’

Those working for a housing and regeneration organisation in the north-west of England have been praised in a recent report, it has emerged.

In an assessment by the Housing Corporation, Contour Housing Group was given full marks across all four categories of assessment - governance, development, management and financial viability.

Furthermore, the corporation commended Contour for engaging with tenants and its commitment to providing continuous improvements.

Such news could be of interest to those seeking work in the public sector via a regional recruitment portal.

Commenting on the news, Mike Creamer, chief executive for Contour Housing Group, said: "Naturally we are delighted to have received this excellent assessment which confirms that the company is in great shape.

"The assessment is quite rightly robust and to have received top marks across all areas of our work is a testament to our staff."

At present the organisations provides 20,000 properties available in a combination of new build homes, supported and sheltered housing and general rent.

Earlier this month, Southend borough council were praised by the Audit Commission for offering "excellent" housing benefits services.
