Luton council ‘making good progress’
Luton borough council is providing a good service to its residents, a new Audit Commission reports.
According to the commission those working for the public sector body are working well to improve the health of local people, in particular those from vulnerable or disadvantaged sectors of society.
Gary Hammersley, senior manager for the Audit Commission, said: "Luton borough council is working well with other organisations to improve quality of life for local people.
"In particular, good progress is being made around regenerating the local economy, making the roads safer, and improving the quality of the local environment."
