Audit Commission praises Poole council
Poole borough council has been the latest local authority to receive praise from the Audit Commission, it has been revealed.
Those working for the public sector body were deemed by the commission to be working well with network partners in understanding what its residents require.
Philip Suter, senior manager of the Audit Commission, claimed that the council is "well-managed and staff work hard to deliver good services".
In addition Mr Suter claimed that the public sector body is proving to be particularly effect in areas such as affordable housing and waste management.
The announcement might be of interest to those who are seeking housing jobs.
Poole borough council was also commended for its partnerships with both the police and primary care trust in taking the time to ensure that the town is "a safe and healthy place to live".
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Gloucestershire-based Two Rivers Housing was commended by Quality Housing Services and was deemed to offer an "excellent" level of service.
