Dartford receives praise for housing services
Dartford council has been praised for its housing services, it has emerged.
In a study by Kent county council’s supporting people programme, those working for the public sector body were commended for providing value for money, leadership and excellence.
Furthermore, the local authority was highlighted as having a "system for continuous improvement" in place.
Councillor Pat Coleman, portfolio holder for housing services at Dartford council, said: "We are constantly looking for ways to improve the services we provide and continue to perform at a high level and I am pleased we have been recognised for this."
Overall Dartford was given an A grade, putting the council in the top ten per cent of the best housing providers throughout the county.
