Blackpool Coastal Homes commended by commission
Blackpool Coastal Homes is providing a good service to its residents, a new Audit Commission report reveals.
In its latest study, the institution gave those working for the public sector body a rating of two stars out of a possible three.
Furthermore, the housing organisation was commended for tackling levels of anti-social behaviour in the area, engaging well with residents and providing a "strong" complaints procedure.
Blackpool Coastal Homes was also praised for its operations with network partners to deliver visible improvements and has promising prospects for future improvements.
Yvonne Davies, head of housing for the Audit Commission in the north of England, said: "The range of services we inspected showed good services being delivered, with significant strengths in some areas."
"Improvement plans are challenging and resources are being directed to address customer priorities," Ms Davies added.
